I am a Clinical Psychologist who has worked with adults and children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD and Tourettes Syndrome/Tic Disorder for more than 20 years. I am a registered practitioner psychologist with the health and care professions council (HCPC). I started my career working in a school for autistic children. Since that time, I have worked assessing, diagnosing and helping both autistic adults and children, and those with other neuro developmental conditions and mental health difficulties.

Before moving into private practice, I worked for many years in the NHS across several different services. I have extensive experience of working with children and adolescents in several CAMHS (child and adolescent mental health service) teams. I have also worked in specialist teams for eating disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders and with young offenders. I have particular interest in working therapeutically with stress, anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). I primarily use cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), and am also trained in behaviour therapy for Tourette’s/Tic Disorder (Habit Reversal Therapy, Comprehensive Behavioural Intervention for Tics – CBiT and Exposure and Response Prevention – ERP).

Both my undergraduate degree and doctorate in clinical psychology were undertaken in the UK at Oxford University and the University of London.

Individuals and families from all ethnicities and cultural backgrounds are welcome; as are all genders and sexualities.

I usually see clients online, but if necessary can see people in person in Guildford or Bristol.  I am afraid I am currently unable to offer in person therapy but can see people for in-person assessments.
