I’m Chris Haylock, an HCPC-registered and BACP-accredited Counselling Psychologist and Psychotherapist. I provide online therapy for neurodivergent adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, emotional regulation difficulties, relationship challenges, and identity-related concerns.
With over 17 years of clinical experience, I focus on creating a therapeutic space where you feel safe, understood, and respected. I work collaboratively, at your pace, and with care for your individual experiences, strengths, and needs.
My approach is evidence-based, relational, and integrative, and my practice is trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, and culturally aware. I draw on CBT, ACT, mindfulness-based approaches, humanistic and person-centred therapy, and EMDR, tailoring therapy to what feels most helpful for you. I also offer behaviour therapy for Tourette’s/Tic Disorder (Habit Reversal Therapy, Comprehensive Behavioural Intervention for Tics – CBiT and Exposure and Response Prevention – ERP).
I practise in line with HCPC and BACP professional and ethical standards and engage in regular supervision and ongoing professional development to ensure my work remains safe, thoughtful, and effective.
