The initial consultation lasts 60 minutes and explores current concerns, including any mental health difficulties. The initial consultation is conducted with the client. We will then make a recommendation regarding the next steps.
Neurodevelopmental questionnaires are sent out to the client and returned to us prior to your next appointment.
The structured diagnostic interview lasts approximately 1-2 hours. This includes the client and can include an informant. The interview involves questions about the client’s historical and current tics, their frequency, and their severity. This is typically conducted online via video call.
A video of the client is also collected lasting 5 to 15 minutes. This should include the full range of the client’s tics.
We schedule a feedback meeting with the client to explain our diagnostic decision and provide them with a detailed diagnostic report with personalised recommendations.
