Zoë Hodge

CBT Therapist and Neurodevelopmental Practitioner

MSc BSc BA (hons) PGDip PGCert

With nearly two decades of experience in mental health, Zoë has established herself as a dedicated professional in the field. Zoë's expertise notably extends to conducting autism and ADHD assessments across the lifespan. In addition to specialising in trauma and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) treatment for adults and children and young people (CYP), she brings a breadth of knowledge and empathy to her work, further supported with her training in Compassion Focussed Therapy.

As a BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Therapist, Zoë applies evidence-based practices to support her clients effectively. Her current role reflects her ongoing pursuit of professional excellence, coupled with her final year of study for a Doctorate in Educational Psychology.

Zoë's personal experiences as a neurodivergent adult and parent of a neurodivergent child enrich her professional perspective, especially her research on the impact of alternative educational pedagogy on the mental health of neurodivergent young people. This personal connection fuels her advocacy for inclusive educational practices and her understanding of the unique challenges and strengths of neurodivergent individuals.

At the core of Zoë's approach is a strong pro-neurodiversity stance, emphasising the importance of recognising and valuing the diverse talents and strengths inherent in each person. Her holistic and compassionate approach to mental health care not only addresses challenges but also empowers individuals to embrace and leverage their unique traits and capabilities.
