Anna Jones

Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist

BSc (Hons), PGDip, MR SLT

I am a highly specialist speech and language therapist who has worked with young people and adults with neurodevelopmental differences for most of my career.

I started out in special schools heading up the autism therapy provision, integrating communication supports within the classrooms and providing 1:1 and group therapy packages. In my NHS role as clinical lead for the child development centre, I formed part of the diagnostic MDT for young children aged 2-5.

I also specialised in feeding difficulties associated with neurodivergence, including sensory feeding differences, and avoidant, restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID).

Following my work in the NHS, I became a specialist neurodevelopment clinician, assessing and diagnosing autism and ADHD in both remote and face to face settings, and providing post diagnostic support. I have most recently operationally managed a large team of assessment clinicians for a remote ND and mental health company, however, I remain dedicated to my own direct clinical work, which I have continued alongside my management role.
